DL380 G5 temperature readings - ever resolved?

I've got several DL380 G5 in my environment and two that have issues with incorrect temp reporting on the SMH. One has  "N/A" listed and the other has "255C" listed as the CPU temperatures (sensors 3,4,6,7). I've searched and found many peolpe had this issue in the past, but it looks as if there was never any "answered" posts.

Was there ever a fix or do I just need to swap the system boards?

Hello David,

I have "fixed" some of these server with CMOS Clear,  firmware and drivers update but in some cases the thermal sensor just seemed to be bad, in such cases the board should fix it but I recommend you first try the BIOS, iLO (driver and firmware) and CMOS clear before.

rgds,
