DL380 G6 Both Processor Error Lights Lit
I'm hoping someone can help on this one.
I was asked to look at a server that had both processor lights showing faulty from the front panel. I have tried reseating, and swapping them over, same error. Also, whenever the server powers up the fans are very noisey.
I have taken one of the processors out, and tried it in a different server, this worked.
I'm think this is more of a system board fault, but I'm open to suggestions as to what to try.
Thanks in advance,
Pete

Re: DL380 G6 Both Processor Error Lights Lit
Thanks for the reply, but I've tried that. I've taken it down to one processor, swapped the processors.
I am now getting a 'server critical' red led displayed.
Are there any flashing sequences etc, that I can check for.
Thanks,
Pete
