DL380 G6 - FATAL PCIExpress Device Error PCI Slot? B00/D03/F00 05

Hi all,

I've 2 DL380G6 Servers with the same problem.

I've to install a PCI card from Sealevel.

To install this card, I'd installed the HP PCI-X Riser Kit - riser card P/N: 494322-B21

The problem starts when I fit the PCI card to the Riser Kit. The server doesn't start. It shows the next message:

FATAL PCIExpress Device Error PCI Slot?  B00/D03/F00 05

I thought it was a conflict with some PCI Embedded devices so I disable all of them except the SAS Raid controller but it doesn't work.

Hi Ferran, Ihave the same problem and I also just opened a thread. I have an HP Dl380/G6 with the same riser kit but a different card, it's an Adaptec SCSi card.

Did you get a response to your thread yet?
