DL380 G6 - RedHat 5.4 - Red Screen
I have 2 DL380 G6 Servers running the latest Firmware (System ROM: P62 01/13/2010; backup system ROM: 07/24/2009)
They have 4 local disks configured in RAID 1+0, and ran perfectly with RedHat 5.4 in a test environment.
We decided to take the server down, scratch it and rebuild it for production. The server is booted with a kickstart CD and installed using a Satellite server, and then reboots. When we try that it goes into a Red Screen with the following error message:
Illegal OpCode
EAX=000E0005
EBX=00007C00
ECX=00000001
EDX=00000180
EBP=0000FBFA
ESI=000007BE
EDI=00000800
DS=0000
ES=0000
FS=0000
GS=0000
CS:EIP=0000:00007F08
SS:ESP=1000:0000B000
EFLAGS=00000202
