DL380 G6 and SBS 2008
I have tried via the SmartStart v8.25 and v8.3. I have also tried just to boot with the DVD and use PSP later.
Has anyone seen this? Any suggestions?

now make sure youdo not have mor thabn 2 sticks ram in and not more than 4 gigs at this moment
remove optional pci card and option disk expansion cage if any
now see what happens are these local installs or via ilo or rdp, or sif setupinstalls , pxeetc

Re: DL380 G6 and SBS 2008
Using Microsoft's Actual DVD
If you let it sit, it takes approximately 4-5 hours then reboots and continues

Re: DL380 G6 and SBS 2008
I removed the sas hba for the tape drive and I removed the network cable. I believe I had tried it initially without network cable but can't be 100%.
I did a manual install with just the HP branded SBS 2008 DVD. This time it went through.
Therefore I think its tied to the sas hba. (It is a genuine HP item for attaching the Ultrium drive).
I am away and hope to complete the install in time for Monday morning.
Thanks guys.

Re: DL380 G6 and SBS 2008
Its a local install and I have 6GB of RAM in this box.
(And it does now go through with the above config.)
