DL380 G6 and Server 2008
I was wondering if anyone can share any specific BIOS tweaks that should be applied for this kind of configuration?
Thanks

Re: DL380 G6 and Server 2008
Why do you want to Tweak your bios did you get any issues regarding performance?
Tweaking your CPU and BIOS is one of the best ways to squeeze that extra speed out of your system but you might need to be carefull when tring to tweak your bios coz it may play with your server performance downgrading it.
for hp ProLiant servers DL380 G6 no performance issues i met or read with win2008 therefore sql2008 should be working perfectlly coz of it's integrity with the OS.
For more confirmation on the subject can you specify which release of win2008 and sql2008 you use.
attached to you also some tips on tweaking your bios.

Re: DL380 G6 and Server 2008
There are quite a few virtualization options, do I need those enabled for any performance reason?
