DL380 G6 - cannot install VMWARE ESXi 4.0

Hi, I have a new DL380 G6 with no CD drive. I am trying to install vmware esxi 4.0 via ILO but it either hangs whilst installing or gives me a boot error half way through.

I have checked the BIOS version and its the latest one.

Can anybody help please?

hi,

do you have physical access to your server or you have only remote connection via ILO ???

if you have physical access you could install the vmware from USB key.
