DL380 G7, Install Windows on onboard Intel SATA Option
Hi
I have an DL380 G7, where I have attached a SSD Disk to the onboard SATA controller, Intel 5520 Chipset.
I can see at POST, that the server correctly identifies the drive as a hard disk, and shows the correct model number.
But when I have booted up my Windows Install DVD and selects the drive/partition, I get an error that windows can't create or locate any partitions on that drive.
Do anyone know if it is possible to install windows to that controller?
What I have tried is selecting the Intel controller at boot controller, and I have found some Intel drivers and tried to load them at the disk selection screen, but still same result.
Regards Lars
