DL380 G7 SD Card slot - Can it be disabled?

See the subject...

Issue:

I am having trouble capturing and deploying a linux based OS on local hard drives and want to remove the SD card from the mix.

Removing the card is not an option going forward and am hoping there is a way to disable it in the bios. I have not found an option though. Is there an "Advanced" mode? or does anyone know how to disable it?

Re: DL380 G7 SD Card slot - Can it be disabled?

The only way is to disable all USB devices (internal and external). If you do not use such devices, you can go to RBSU -> System Options -> USB Options -> USB Control -> USB Disabled

Read the doc:

Re: DL380 G7 SD Card slot - Can it be disabled?

Thanks. Disabling the USB Control definitely helped my situation... though I still have other issues.

If anyone wants to take a stab at it, see this thread:

Thanks.
