DL380 G7 with dual NC375T - Faulty Card?

I've a DL380 G7 that I'm in the process of setting up.

It has dual NC375T quad port NICs.

Last thing yesterday I rebooted it and noticed that in vSphere 4 of the NICs had just disappeared.

Upon checking the rear of the server, one of the NC375T cards has a solid green light on all the ports if you plug a cable (with the other end disconnected) into any of the ports.

Because of the timing I've not logged it with HP yet, nor have I done any investigation.

I just wondered in the interim if anyone had any thoughts on this other than a failed NIC as it was working quite happily.

Thanks,
Paul

Re: DL380 G7 with dual NC375T - Faulty Card?

HI Paul,

If NIC card is detected fine on the post and activity and Link status is fine then it could be related to driver.

Hope this helps,
