DL380 G8 client wants RAID 10

Is there a controller card that even does RAID 10 anymore?  I asked HP but was given an incorrect answer.  According to quickspecs the 420i does not do RAID 10.  The kicker is he would like 4T of useable space.  Thanks.

Re: DL380 G8 client wants RAID 10

The terms RAID 10, RAID 1+0 and RAID 0+1 are sometimes used interchangeably in various literature.  If you care about the difference between 1+0 vs. 0+1, it's always best to explicitly describe what you mean, because others might be using a different definition.

All SmartArray controllers (even software-based ones) can do RAID 1+0, which is defined by HP as building a RAID 0 set out of two or more RAID 1 pairs. To my understanding, this is what is usually meant by "RAID 10".
