Hi,
in OSC it is possible to build 868705-B21 HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10 12LFF Configure-to-order Server with P408i-a and add 12 LFF drives without any warning or issue. However I find it strange, because 12LFF backplane has 3 SAS connections, while P408i-a provides only 2. So I would think that 12G SAS Expander card 870549-B21 would be needed in this case. However there is no Expander card in OSC BoM. QuickSpecs does not share anything on the topic. Service Manual doesn't say anything and does not even show 12LFF backplane in detail (seriously HPE?). Please advise? TY in advance
PS Yes I know it can be built with P816i-a, but in this particular case RAID Ctrl must be P408i-a ...
