DL380 Gen10 with High Performance Heatsink + 2nd CPU kit with Standard Heatsink, will it work?

We have a ProLiant DL380 Gen10 875763-S01, we’re installing a DL380 Gen10 6126 Xeon-G Processor Kit Sku# 826862-B21. The Server comes with a high performance heat sink from the factory, the processor we’re installing does not have a high performance heat sink.  Would like to confirm if this is okay with the differences of the heat sinks before proceeding with installation. Can someone confirm these will function properly with the heat sink differences? Thank you

Will it work? Yeah probably. Is it a supported config? No I don't think so. I've heard of this happening before and if you call HPE they should send you a replacement heatsink, since that smartbuy server isn't supposed to come with a high performance heatsink.

Greeting,

As per HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10 Server QuickSpecs, the performance Heatsinks (826706-B21) are required for Double Wide GPU installations (Note these ship as standard on Processors over 130W processors and the 8156, 6128 and 5122).

Please refer HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10 Server QuickSpecs (page number 45) for detailed information.
