DL380 Gen7 Bios Password: Difference where to type numbers
Hi,
I found something funny / stupid.
We have 9 HP DL380 Gen 7 servers in one application. All have the same BIOS Password Containing letters and numbers.
However, on some machines we have to type the number on the numeric keyboard (on the right side under the NumLock key) on the other we have to type the numbers on the top part of the aflanumeric keyboard. All machines have the same keyboard installed.
Any taught about this. Can this be solved?
Thanks for the advice.

Re: DL380 Gen7 Bios Password: Difference where to type numbers
Hi,
I think that the NumLock option is disabled.
try to enable this option in the bios to ensure that the NumLock keys are activated during the power up.
1/"F9" BIOS
2/System Options
3/NUMLOCK Power-On state
4/Enable
thx.
