DL380 Gen9 Not Recognizing Drives
Hello. We have a DL380 Gen 9 with a SAS expander. Server currently has 6 RAID1 arrays. We are attempting to add 2 more RAID1 arrays in existing empty slots. The server is only recognizing a new drive installed in bay 13, and not bay 14-16. I have confirmed the drives are good. If we install each new drive in bay 13 they are all showing up ok, just not in bay 14-16. I updated the firmware and driver for the RAID (p440AR) and the SAS expander without any changes. Any suggestions?

Re: DL380 Gen9 Not Recognizing Drives
Hello,
I would suggest you check the cable connectivity between SA P440AR controller to SAS expander to hard disk backplane.
Update the SAS expander controller firmware with the latest.
If the issue still persists, I would suggest you have a proper case be logged with HPE, and share the appropriate logs for further analysis.
