DL380 Gen9 UEFI Boot order gets reset after BIOS / ILO upgrade
Anyone else have the UEFI boot order get reset after upgrading the BIOS from 1.50 to 2.00 and ILO from 2.30 to 2.40 using the April 2016 HPSPP? It has happened to me several times now on separate DL380 Gen9 boxes at different client sites. It isn't an issue with Windows servers, but ESXi fails to boot because it doesn't use Windows Boot Manager, which gets put at the top of the list, then USB, then the NICs, and finally the Embedded RAID controller where the boot LUN is. So of course, the ESXi hosts attempt to PXE boot. Pretty annoying.

Re: DL380 Gen9 UEFI Boot order gets reset after BIOS / ILO upgrade
After an upgrade, one wouild imagine that the upgrade will use its own default settings. Consequently, you need to go into the BIOS and reset it to the order you want.
