DL380 Missing components

Hi,

I am trying to set up a new Hp DL380 proliant server.

I have checked the server and the PSP is already installed.

When I checked a DL360, I can see it has for example, Hp Array Configuration Utility, Hp Proliant Integrated Management Log Viewer etc

see the print screen

How do I install the same for the DL 380?

Thanks,
Sanjay

Re: DL380 Missing components

Try Installing PSP.
DO a Custom installation, Select the components you want to install. You should be able to see all the components listed when you do a Custom install.

Re: DL380 Missing components

Hi,

as far as I understand, ProLiant Support Pack(PSP) is already installed. Since the tools are included in it and on one of the servers they are missing, seems like there was a problem by the install. You didn't mention which generation are the servers, but if they are newer than G1, install the PSP 7.91 (again) and you must be able to see the utilities.

Re: DL380 Missing components

Hi,

I did as you have suggested. Tried to reinstall and then found that the SNMP service was not installed. Installed SNMP. Then proceeded to reinstall.

Thanks
