DL380 Raid Array

I have a DL380 the boot drive in slot 0 has been corrupted. We cannot boot to a level for the mirrored disk in slot 1 to re-sync with the new disk.
Is there a way of booting from the mirrored disk currently in slot1?

What happens if you boot the system up with only the good disk from the mirror pair?

Is this a Hardware Raid?

The Dl380 does have an onboard array controller.
In case of a Hardware Raid 1,if one drive fails the second drive should automatically takeover.

Did the Drive in Slot 0 failed or the OS got corrupted.

What is the message that you get once the server boots up with the drive in Slot 1 alone?

Thank you for your replies.

It appears after further investigation that the server was built with RAID 5 not 0+1 as previously thought.

Therefore having lost two out of four disks the data could not be rebuilt from the parity.

We have since rebuilt the server and restored from backup.

After further investigation the server configuration was different to previously thought. Therefore the problem was no longer relevant.
