DL380 & SA642 in PCI; "not found"

I am running a Proliant DL380. Built in there is a Smart Array 5i, but additional I have a Smart Array 642 in PCI port 3, IRQ 10.

Problem is following:
In bios (ROM based diagnostics - F9) the device is recognized as RAID MASS STORAGE CONTROLLER.
Then in windows (2000 server SP4) under device manager the card is recognized as Smart Array 642, but when I load Compaq Array Configuration Utility, the message is COULD NOT DETECT ANY ARRAY CONTROLLERS IN THE SYSTEM.

I am running the lastest proliant support pack and the latest firmware on the SA642.

Please help !

For configuring the latest series of Smart Array controllers one must use HP Array configuration utility (web based one) not old 32bit app.....
