DL380 and CP1623 cooperation

Please help me with your expirence.

Our engeenier design to use CP1623 (Siemens Card) in HP Server DL380 Gen9, finally driver could not installed correctly and this car is not work (in device managment it shown with yellow warning).

Main operation system is Win 2008 R2 Standart (64bit). Siemens soft PCS7 SP1

How to make all work and good?

Do some one already solve problem like this?

IMHO this is something you need to ask the provider of the card, maybe you need another newer driver or whatever.

We check log in iLO and found that PCI Bus has problem.

Can it be a reason why PCI Card CP1623 could not install in correct way?

I remember there was a PCI related issue in a certain BIOS version 1.xx that was solved later.

Please make sure to update the BIOS (firmware) to version 2.22 and check again.

We made BIOS update with lastest version.

Now we have BIOS 2.22 - It not help, We have same problem with PCI.

What we can do next?

and select your country (click the country shown left at bottom), then follow SUPPORT.

Keep the serial no. ready, they will ask you about.

If you got an PCI Bus Error it should appear in the IML of the server (have a look into the ILO interface -> IML).

More detail would be helpful.

With this error message, contact HPE support again.

They should explain, why it is not a hardware issue of the server ...

Maybe they want to have the AHS report from the server (you can get it from ILO too). There they can see all messages themselve.
