DL380 g5-g7
hi
i hava 2 ouestion
1- if everybody know install dimm lp(low power)and other ram install mixed.( on the 380g5)
2- i have 1 dl380 g7 and install 3 hdd 146gb 10k and raid is p410 and version bios is 3.66 but when boot the system this error appeare hard drive need update to version hpdb but i update all divice with firmware mantanence 9.3 but error is stay.
please help my force.

1.) I think it's possible, but low power RAM is more expensive than regular RAM: if you mix them, they will all be used as regular RAM, so the advantage of low power RAM is wasted.
2.) You need a hard disk firmware update, which is different from the normal BIOS and RAID controller firmware updates. This will update the firmware on the actual disks.
I guess this is the disk firmware update you need:
Note the installation instructions: apparently the disk firmware update has not been included into the Firmware Maintenance CD for some reason.

Q 1 : Not recomended
Q2: Please update Hard Drive Firmware either download from the site for Linux:
or if you have 9.0 or later Firmware DVD, that contains all required firmwares you may need to update it while system boot.
Boot your system from Firmware DVD/CD and select Automatic /Un attended Insallation.
Once server reboots remove CD and see if it fixes error
