Good morning,
I have a problem with the installation of Ubuntu on this server. I have create a Raid 5 but during the installation the OS not see my Logical drive.
I have found a document oh hp for install this driver but there is a problem, the guide report this passage:
"IMPORTANT: Ubuntu does not recognize driver update images via iLO virtual media. Use a USB key with a partition, and then enter the dd command to copy the driver update image to the USB-key. (dd if=hpdsa-1.2.0-185.ubuntu1404.x86_64.img of=/dev/sdc1)"
But i cannot find the file img on the web but only this format for B140i controller:
hp-storage-3.16.0-30-generic-di_1.2.4-140-3.16tubuntu2_amd64.udeb (669.8 KiB)
hpdsa-3.16.0-30-generic_1.2.4-140-3.16tubuntu2_amd64.deb (669.8 KiB)
hpdsa-common_1.2.4-140-3.16tubuntu2_amd64.deb (1.7 KiB)
hpdsa_1.2.4-140-3.16tubuntu2.dsc (1.3 KiB)
hpdsa_1.2.4-140-3.16tubuntu2.tar.gz (874.1 KiB)
hpdsa_1.2.4-140-3.16tubuntu2_amd64.deb (1.6 KiB)
There is a way for install the OS Ubuntu Server 14.04 using the B140i controller with Raid 5 configuration?
Thank very much for the help.
