DL380 - no keyboard/mouse on bootup

hi,

we??ve got a "old" Compaq DL380 servers. when the system boots up the video works, but keyboard/mouse does??nt .... there no RILO-Board or something other inside... we use the normal output ports (PS2) but they don??t work. we also changed the keyboard/mouse (..from cherry-keyboard to logitech aso.) but nothing happends.

...all those keyboards/mouse worked without any problem on my desktop-pc....

any idea ? can anyone help ??

You should first attempt to cleear the NVRAM config os the BIOS. This is done by placing switch #6 in the on position, and booting. After completing the boot, power the system down and flip the switch back. Boot to f(, do a save and exit. If this doesn't work, try updating the system rom.

resetting the nvram solves our problem...now it work??s fine....thanx !!!
