DL380 with external SDLT drive daisy chained.

Hi there
I want to know if it is HP certified to connect an external SDLT drive to a DL380 G3 onboard external port on the server and then daisy chain the HP 9100MX optical drive off the SDLT drive.

I don't think that is supported. The external port on a DL380 G3 is a raid port not a simple SCSI. Also there are only a few supported drive off the 5i.
