DL380 won't restart

We have a DL380 with Win2K SP4. It will shut down as expected when selecting Shut Down. However, when selecting Restart, it will also shut down and has to be powered back on manually.

I've checked the HP forums and other online sources but haven't found a possible cause/solution.

Maybe some is corrupted in your OS, have you been try with a F8 option, and select tha last god know configuration¡¡¡

Hi,

What is -
the generation of DL 380??
BIOS version?
PSP version installed?
Storage controller and its firmware?
Any logs in the events log?
Does restart fail from the safe-mode?

Plz do post...

check for ROM update and patches update for OS
