DL380G3 - Smart Array 5i - Second SCSI bus appears non-operational
I have two identical DL380G3 systems, both have 6 drives. I have configured them both to operate in integrated duplex mode. On the first system, I was able to run the ORCA array configuration tool to create two logical drives, one per SCSI Bus. On the second system, when I run the ORCA tool, only the two drives attached to the first SCSI Bus are detected.
To troubleshoot I have swapped SCSI Terminators and the cables connecting the SCSI Backplane to the system board without success.
Lastly, I tried configuring the system to run in integrated simplex mode and found that only then, the ORCA tool could see all six drives. This leads me to believe there is a problem with this second SCSI bus.
Attached is the report from the Array Diagnostic Utility.
Any suggestions on other things to try before I send it back?

Re: DL380G3 - Smart Array 5i - Second SCSI bus appears non-operational
Bob:
Yes, you could send the server back, but all you need is for them to cross ship you the SCSI backplane PC board. You need to call customer service warranty repairs and order Spare Part 289552-001. You send back the broken board when you get the new one.
