DL380G3 dat72 hot-plug tray

I have a DL380 G3 in which the tape drive (a DAT72 hot-plug) has stopped working. On investigation, I discovered the internal power connection on the tray was broken. I wish to order a new hot-plug tray to replace it.

WHAT IS THE PART NO OF THE TRAY (not the DAT72 drive). I have searched every where but I cannot find the info.

TIA

Re: DL380G3 dat72 hot-plug tray

You need to check product number of your server.

Then at the next link:

http://partsurfer.hp.com/cgi-bin/spi/main

Add your product number at the left box.

or select your product at the next link

http://partsurfer.hp.com/cgi-bin/spi/main?sel_flg=modsrch&template=main&cpric=&prodsrch=DL380G3

You need: SCSI backplane PC board - Has connectors for six SCSI devices

Re: DL380G3 dat72 hot-plug tray

I checked the link you gave me and the only part number I came up with was the tape blank fitting, not the actual hot plug fitting to enclose the dat drive.
