DL380G4 POST Error: 1797- Drive Array

I have swapped out 2 systemboards and keep getting this error:

POST Error: 1797-Drive Array - Array Accelerator Read Error Occurred

My array accelerator is permanmently disabled. How can I re-enable as ACU gives me an error when I try and get into it.

Thanx in advance

I have attached the ADU report if someone wants to see it.

Anyone? The 6i is integrated (as far as I know) into the mobo, unlike the 5i which you could replace.

ACU does not let me access the controller.
Mobo has been replaced 2 times.

Am I missing something? How can I re-enable the array accelerator if I can't access ACU?

Hello Jonathan.

You are right; the 6i is part of the system board.

What are the error messages that are you getting on the ACU?

Re: DL380G4 POST Error: 1797- Drive Array

I finally got it figured out that the 6i cache memory module was pooched.

128mb module p/n 355999-001 sp# 351518-001

The only that was constant whenever a system board was replaced. There was a blinking uid that my lacky forgot to mention to me. As soon as went to physically look at the box, I figured it out.

If want something done right, do it yourself!!

I hope you managed to get by these past six years, but here's another answer: Update your firmware (see also http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=c02666681&prodSeriesId=3902574&prodTypeId=329290&printver=true)
