DL380G4 / RIS / NC77xx-Nic Problem

I have read the MS-Article "http://support.microsoft.com/kb/246184/en-us" and tried to include the HP NC77xx-Network-Drivers to the ristndrd.sif-file because there is no native-support in W2003 for this Nic.

But i have always an error with the q57w2k.sys-file and RIS stops with the setup.

The q57w2k.sys-file is not in the driver-package from hp. There is just a entry for this file in the q57win32.inf-file.

My Driver-Version is up-do-date: 7.80.0.0

Any help is welcome!

Re: DL380G4 / RIS / NC77xx-Nic Problem

Mike,
It may not be a driver issue, but may be a firmware/BIOS IRQ setting on the G4. I had a similar problem when trying to deploy an image using MS ADS. I had to change the IRQ for the embedded 6i controller from the factory setting (I think it was 7) to the alternate setting of 5. These may be reversed, as it has been a couple of months since discovering the work-around.

Try making the IRQ change for the 6i controller and report back any successes/failures.
