DL380G4 - SA 6i vs SA 641

Win2K3 Server Standard
4 to 6 internal hard drives

If both controllers have 128MB BBWC, why would I want a 641 over the integrated 6i?

Does Windows Enterprise and more RAM made a difference?

Just trying to figure out in a real-world situation why a vendor is recommending a 641. I have always had good luck with the integrated controllers.

Depend what you do, difference only to free up bus 0 and slightly more performance, if you really after performance go 640x series; try 6i and buy after if needed 64x or 640x
