DL380G5 BSOD due CPQTEAM

Hello All,

I'm start to be crazy with this server:
DL380 G5 with win2k3 Ent. 4GB RAM 4CPU dual core.
So every 2/3 days but sometime after 8 days this server go in BSOD and everytime for the same reason: MODULE_NAME: cpqteam
The FW and drivers for the NIC'S is the latest, NW teaming is set to NFT and nw speed is fixed to 1GB.
Any idea?
In attachment the last DUMP file...

Re: DL380G5 BSOD due CPQTEAM

Ok, FW and driver's updated to the last version. Teaming dissolved and recreated.
Now I will monitor the server and let you know the result.

Re: DL380G5 BSOD due CPQTEAM

cpqteam.sys is the NCU driver, this is a very know issue, to fix it, as you mentioned, updade NIC drivers and FW, uninstall NCU (from LAC properties) and re- intall it.

To check versions run from cmd hpnetsvy > NCUreport.txt and paste it here

Re: DL380G5 BSOD due CPQTEAM

you might need to disable the SNP (scalable network pack)

To manually disable RSS and TCP Offload yourself, follow these steps:
Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
Locate the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters
Right-click EnableTCPChimney, and then click Modify.
In the Value data box, type 0, and then click OK.
Right-click EnableRSS, and then click Modify.
In the Value data box, type 0, and then click OK.
Right-click EnableTCPA, and then click Modify.
In the Value data box, type 0, and then click OK.
Exit Registry Editor, and then restart the computer.

Re: DL380G5 BSOD due CPQTEAM

OK I got it, but still needed to uninstall and reinstall the NCU? I hope to have already the latest version installed.

Best regards
