Does anyone know this is done, I'm not able to find it in bios.
Can it be done att all ?

Why ?, because we have an application that won't run with 2 processors.

Tanks in advance and merry christmas

Re: DL380G5 Deactivate hyperthreading

Hi Lars,

Your CPUs are definitely dual-core - two physical cores are packed into each socket.

You cannot simply switch one of the cores off, hence you will need to handle at least TWO CPUs in your OS / application,

If your Xeons have model number 51xx (not 50xx) they do not support hyperthreading at all (i.e. two logical cores per CPU).
