DL380G5 and HP SC11Xe Host Bus Adapter

We have a new DL380G5 with an external backup (Ultrium 448).
To make connection between server and Ultrium we use HP SC11Xe Host Bus Adapter but i don't know on which PCI Port i must to insert the card.

Hi,

the SC11Xe is x4 PCIe card.

In the DL380 g5 you have 2 x4 PCI-e slots with x8 connectors(the card fits there.)
If you have the standard PCIe riser cage, you can put the HBA there too...
In other words, you can install the card in all PCIe slots in the server, there is no specific rule.

Can be that I didn't understand you right. If this is the case, pls explain why do you ask.

so it can be slot 2 and 3 (in case you have standard riser cage)
