DL380G5 dos networking, uggggh

Can't get my G5's on the network. Please help.

Tried with the on board 373i and couldn't get it to work. Now I have a 7170 PCI nic in it and still no luck.

I have downloaded the latest and greatest q57.dos and n100.dos. no luck there.

Anyone get this to work?

All I'm trying to do is add the G5 to the same disk that I have made work for the G1's, G2's, G3's, and G4's. I use this disk to kick off a network based OS install.

Please help.

DL380 G5 has Broadcom NetXtreme II onboard Network Adapter. You have to use the DOS NDIS2 driver which is called bxnd20x.dos

http://www.broadcom.com/support/ethernet_nic/driver-sla.php?driver=NX2-DOSNDIS2

If you want I can give you a download link to my sample disk image. It based on Windows 98 and FreeDOS.

Kind regards
Lars

shoot. the one driver (of four) that I didn't try. I will test that and see if it does the trick.

Thank you very much.
