DL380G5 not more compatibly with vsphere 6.0
Hi, all my test servers DL380G5 or DL585G5 are not more working with vSphere 6.0. So I can throw through the windows all this servers ? It says unsupported Hardware CPU with a device number. Is there no "trick" to install vsphere 6.0 on an "older" hardware? I know for productiv environment it is clear to use supported hardware, but this is only a testsystem.
Thanks a lot!
regards
Novell1

Re: DL380G5 not more compatibly with vsphere 6.0
Those servers are really old! you can force esxi 5.5 drivers to load on esxi 6.0 - google for that. It's not technically supported but if it gets your G5 server working enough for 6.0 - it might be worth a shot!
