I have a new DL380G6 that I am doing the initial setup on. I built the server with the first volume being a mirrored pair of 146GB drives. I installed Win2K8R2 there.
I now need to setup a second array using 4 300GB drives in a raid 5. This is a config I use all the time with Proliants.
I put the 4 300GB drives in and went the GUI Raid Config utility and it sees the 4 drives but only gives me the option for a RAID 1+0 or a RAID 0. After messing with this for a while I rebooted the box and hit F8 and went to the RAID config and see the same thing. What am I missing?
Thanks
Chris Coates
