DL380P G8 - P822 not showing in ACU

Hello,

Have a DL380 Server with internal P420i connected to internall cage and working fine.

Recently we add a P822 at PCI Slot 1 to connect to a D2700 storage.

Server and Storage Controllers are updated to latest Firmware. P420i and P822 have 8.32

Both Controllers show at Post, and P822 allow to configure the Logic arrays using ORCA.

Problem is P822 is not listed in the embeded ACU, when ACU starts only p420i can be selected.

Also boot controller is the P420, which has 3 Logic Drives defined.

Can you help?

Greetings!

By "embedded ACU" I understand that you are referring to HPE Smart Storage Administrator in Intelligent Provisioning (F10 option on POST).

You can update Intelligent Provisioning using Intelligent Provisioning Recovery Media and then check the result.

Or you can use boot from offline Smart Storage Administrator:
