[ DL380P Gen 8 ] Will not boot when FC connected
Hello,
I'm running a DL380P Gen 8 with a 300GB RAID1 OS and a 32TB RAID60 configuration as my backup solution for my FC SAN VMWare Environment.
All is well anytime I have the fiber disconnected from the FC Card.
However, anytime I connect the FC card to my Cisco 9148-S fabric and run mpclaim, when it reboots it just spins at the Windows screen forever.
I'm not sure if it's trying to boot for some odd reason from the FC channel or what, but I've reviewed BIOS settings, boot order, etc. and can't see anything obvious.
Additionally, if I plug in the FC connections, my ability to RDP to the server stops working, I only get a black screen.
I'm not sure if it's choosing to route some down the FC path and some through my ethernet team, but I'm out of ideas.
I have configured my MPIO settings, etc. per manufacture specs to my SAN.
Any insight would be much appreciated, thanks!
