DL380p Error: 232 - Memory initialization error LRDIMM
Hi,
Recently we got 4 new 715275-001 (32Gb LRDIMM 1866).
And they are not working with v2 cpus (we got 2628L 2660, 2680)
We thought that modules were dead, but the are new, and we test it in other servers like Supermicro and Dell.
Surprice Modules are working fine with V1 CPUs on all platforms - including our main target - DL360p gen8, and they didn't work with v2 CPUs.
With v1 CPU everehting is working fine - test, memory info - everething is ok (exept lower mem speed, as v1 didn't support 1866)
Is there some kind of special setting or parameter or memory population rules or ... ?

Re: DL380p Error: 232 - Memory initialization error LRDIMM
Hi,
Please refer to ProLiant DL360p Generation 8 QuickSpecs.
Load Reduced DIMMs (LRDIMMs)
NOTE: The following memory is supported by the E5-2600 v2 series Processors.
708643-B21 = HP 32GB (1x32GB) Quad Rank x4 PC3-14900L (DDR3-1866) Load Reduced CAS-13 Memory Kit
Regarding this issue, please update the BIOS. Refer to Revision History for more information.
Thank You!
I am a HPE employee
