[DL380p G8] Selecting boot device, SD Card or Raid Array

Hey all,

I just got two DL380p G8 servers and I have 3 300gb disks in each as well as an SD card in the internal slot.

I want the system to boot to the raid array ( 3 x 300gb disks ), but it always boots to the SD card.

Where can I tell the system which device to boot to: SD Card or Raid Array.

I know this can be done using a boot loader like GRUB, but I want to be able to boot the Raid array independently of the SD card or vice versa.

Through trial and error, I found my answer :

When I don't have a USB key connected to the server, I hit F11 during the second half of POST :

3. One time boot to USB DriveKey => Boots to SD Card

5. One time boot to HDD => Boots to Raid array.
