DL380p G8 System Power Fault Detected XR: 14 00 MID: FF 4D FC CE C0 FF FF 32 32 0C 0C 00 9C 40 40 0
Hey all,
Got a DL380p G8 that just turned itself off randomly and won’t power back on. Only event in the iLO IML is this message “System Power Fault Detected (XR: 14 00 MID: FF 4D FC CE C0 FF FF 32 32 0C 0C 00 9C 40 40 01 03 47 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00)". Anyone know what that code specifically is pointing to?

Hello,
If the server updated with the latest bios ,I would suggest, you have to log a proper case with HPE, and share the appropriate logs for further analysis.

Re: DL380p G8 System Power Fault Detected
Dear Sir ,
I have a similar problem
System Power Fault Detected (XR: 14 00 MID: FF 0D FC CE C0 FF FF 2D 2D 0C 0C 00 9C 00 10 01 03 47 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00)
The Primary PCI riser board is not used, can it be removed and not installed?
After removing the Primary PCI riser board, the problem of power off still remains unsolved
BIOS has been updated to P70 05/24/2019
Thank you

Re: DL380p G8 System Power Fault Detected
I swapped almost every single part out in mine. Nothing worked untill I replaced the SAS backplane.

Re: DL380p G8 System Power Fault Detected
Dear Sir :
I have made SAS backplane today ,
Is there any relevant replacement documentation? Or do I need to set it after replacement?
