DL380p G8 System Power Fault Detected XR: 14 00 MID: FF 4D FC CE C0 FF FF 32 32 0C 0C 00 9C 40 40 0

Hey all,

Got a DL380p G8 that just turned itself off randomly and won’t power back on. Only event in the iLO IML is this message “System Power Fault Detected (XR: 14 00 MID: FF 4D FC CE C0 FF FF 32 32 0C 0C 00 9C 40 40 01 03 47 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00)". Anyone know what that code specifically is pointing to?

Unplugging the SAS backplane power connector allows it to post again. Assume at this point that backplane needs to be replaced. Of course it’s the one part I don’t have on hand.

Hello,

If the server updated with the latest bios ,I would suggest, you have to log a proper case with HPE, and share the appropriate logs for further analysis.
