DL380p Gen8 - Installing Solaris 10u10/Solaris 10u9
Hello,
I am getting an error trying to install Solaris 10u10 (Solaris 10 8/11) or Solaris 10u9 on ProLiant DL380p Gen8 -
"No driver (or driver binding) was found for the interface used to boot. A driver (or driver binding) may be available in update or patch from Sun, or from the interface vendor"
I checked http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/servers/solaris/supportmatrix/index.html and I do have the correct NIC card (HP Ethernet 1Gb 4-port 331FLR Adapter - Broadcom 5719) installed on the system
HP Smart Array P420i Controller is seeing the 1 logical SAS drive.
I've disabled all the PCI adapters and leaving on the Smart Array P420i controller and HP Ethernet 1Gb 4-port 331FLR adapter enabled through the bios.
Thank You!

Re: DL380p Gen8 - Installing Solaris 10u10/Solaris 10u9
Have you looked at the Oracle Solaris 10 Deployment Guide? It is a bit dated, but probably still applicable
This link is in the drivers section for Solaris on the Dl380p Gen8, there is a guide and the actual bundle itself.
Support Bundle for Oracle Solaris 10 (x86/x64) on ProLiant
