DL380p Gen8 - gets stuck at " doing self discovery " at CP017387

We have a customer who just bought 4 -  DL380p Gen8 servers and is trying to update firmwares using the latest SPP all the 4servers using offline SPP ISO

Issue :

All the 4 servers gets stuck at " doing self discovery " at CP017387 which is for Brocade HBA fiber channel crd, though this server has a HBA card, customer has tried doing the updates on other servers which do not have the cards . All the 4 servers are just stuck at the same screen and at the same file.

Customer is not intrested to use the PSP/Firmware dvd, wants a resolution on this not a work around

We have suggested to use a previous SPP release, still no go

Have tried updating with min configuration, still no go

Any suggestions would be appreciated

You can try to update the intelligent provisioning first and then to run the SPP.

As an alternate ran FM DVD, which fixed the issue

I tried with a colleque  to update BL460c    G7   with HP firware UPD  10.10-0  interactive update.

The update stuck with   CP017387 , first we suscpected we we too in a hurry but then we waited for 10 minutes

and nothing happened.

We did not do automatic update , because we wanted to control which updated were selected.
