DL385/585G1 Systems - SAS vs SCSI

Does anybody know if the system, CPU and other internal boards on these are different if you have SAS vs SCSI? We are stocking spare servers for going to HP self maintainer and need to know if their internal boards are different. Obviously the drives, drive bays and the array controller are.

Thanks for any replies.

hi,

do you intend: to compare main boards, cpu and other internal board between dl385 and dl585?

let me know.

Re: DL385/585G1 Systems - SAS vs SCSI

No. I'm trying to see if a 585G1 SCSI based server vs a 585G1 SAS based server have the same internal boards other than what I mention as obviously different.
This applies to the 385 as well.

Does that make sense?

Re: DL385/585G1 Systems - SAS vs SCSI

yes, for sure.
excuse me if I've asked an explaination.

here you can find the quick spec.

http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/Division/10480.html

for the dl385 doesn't seems the same mother board because of the different cpu model can support the scsi and the sas version.
but, I' not sure.

for the dl585 ... mb seems the same... but ...

bye.
