these NICs support TCP Checksum Offloads and TCO Segmentation Offloads.

both drivers you posted are the same one - bcm5700 , different version.
You should only install one of the drivers - either bcm5700 or tg3 - they are both for the same hardware.
In the install notes of both drivers is written that you uninstall the other one before proceeding(some kind of concurency between them)

check the reply...it explains that there is some kind of conspiracy :)
Since the latest bcm5700 version is from 2006 and the tg3 is updated on HP.com, imho means that HP recommend the use of tg3...
In the release notes of tg3 driver there is an enhancement for the offloading capabilities...
Check tg3-3.81e-1.src.txt for install instructions if you decide
