DL385 - Dual Monitors

We're looking to setup dual monitors on a DL385 (G5) and noticed it has a PCI Express slot. We are planning on getting something like an 8800GTX to put in the server. Can anyone tell me if this has been accomplished before and if you ran into any problems setting up dual monitors. It appears that I can disable the on-board video if necessary, but you guys are the experts. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
