DL385 G1 system boot hangs after power on and RAM initialization
Hi,
This box was working with CentOS, booting up to run some tests every now and then. Today when booting up it hangs after the following messages (which used to occur earlier as well, if memory serves right):
[Custom server startup message]
* Redundant rom detected - The system contains a valid backup ROM
* No legacy floppy drive preset.
_
It hangs there.
Any ideas how to diagnose this? It is not even getting to the point where i can enter the BIOS settings, or boot into a smartstart usb.
Thanks,
Tholomew

Re: DL385 G1 system boot hangs after power on and RAM initialization
This works now. There was a USB hard drive attached, when this is not attached, it boots fine and dandy.
Cheers.
