DL385 G6 server Bios type and flashing cards

Hi,

 

I would like to flash the chip on an IBM ServeRaid card m1015 so I can build a large FreeNAS disk array with the server.  To achieve this I need to understand if the server has a UEFI BIOS and how I can enter a shell environment in the BIOS, if possible.

Any ideas how to enter shell in the BIOS?

This server has a BIOS only, no UEFI shell.

Thank you for your reply, it has certainly helped as I wasn't getting anywhere with the bios. I used another machine with UEFI Shell to get the job done. Thank you for your help :)
