DL385p G8 Boot Mesage

When booting the above server ( I have 4 ) I get the following message:

*CLP:COMMAND_NOT_SUPPORTED*CLP:COMMAND_NOT_SUPPORTED*CLP:COMMAND_NOT_SUPPORTED

It happens just after saying "HP SmartMemory Authenticated in all populated SIMM slots"

Any suggestions? I have googled the message and cannot see reference to it. All 4 servers do the same, all are new and have been checked for firmwares/bios versions.

Andy

Looks like an ILO scripting issue.

Hope this helps!

Those messages are coming from the BIOS. Are there any extra option cards on your systems? They could be incompatible with this system and could be causing this.

Re: DL385p G8 Boot Mesage

Sorry for the late reply, been out of the office..

The server has two HP NC523SFP 10Gb NIC cards installed.. The error goes away if trhe cards are removed.. It gived the same issue on all 4 servers so doubt the issue is a faulty card/server. I am going to try a few things and will update back.. All else fails, ring HP..
